About

Tommy Lentsch

SAG-AFTRA actor and producer.

Tommy Lentsch is a SAG-AFTRA actor and producer. He plays the dangerous one and the serious one, but he is just as often the fun one, the goofy dad, the big character who makes you laugh. Comedy Central UK flew him to London to play Matthew Perry's Chandler Bing for the Friends 20th anniversary.

With no theater or acting background, he answered a radio call-out for background actors and landed his first role as a paramedic in the 1993 thriller Trauma. Then he stepped away for about twenty years to raise his two kids as a stay-at-home dad. Once they were grown, he came back on Parker (2013), with Jason Statham and Jennifer Lopez, where they asked him to stand in for Clifton Collins Jr. Being that close to the camera, the lights, and the crew hooked him, and he has worked in film ever since.

On screen

On screen, Tommy has appeared in big productions like Road House (2024), Black-ish, Furious 7, and Tomorrowland. On the commercial side, he is the fun one: Murray the Mummy in a Hotel Transylvania spot for Nickelodeon, a dad in Disney and Seaworld commercials, and a national Audi ad. His credited film roles include the cult member in Nova Road and the voices of Delta and Omega in Aftermath.

Producing

Off camera, Tommy Lentsch founded Lentsch Productions in 2022, owns it, and has producer credits on independent films and series, including The Black-Eyed Children, A Stranger in the Woods, and Malvolia: The Queen of Screams. He is represented by Tribute Productions Talent & Entertainment in Los Angeles.

Tommy Lentsch was born on September 8, 1970, in Webster, South Dakota.
